A New Paralympic Show On The Air

Toronto, ON, November 22, 2002 - As an official media sponsor, VoicePrint is beginning its 2004 Paralympic coverage! The 12th Summer Paralympic Games are less than two years away but Canadian Paralympic athletes will be receiving the national coverage they deserve. The series premier will feature a recap of the 2000 summer sporting events and an interview with Jeff Adams. While in studio, Jeff discussed his CN Tower climb, his past Paralympic experiences and much more. Tune in to VoicePrint this Saturday at 1 pm ET and/or Sunday at 7 am ET

“Starting this year our mission is to not only focus on the games themselves,” says VoicePrint Manager Arlene Patterson, “but also the ‘Paralympic Movement, because athlete accomplishment in life and in sport make an important social statement about achievements of persons with disabilities.” The series, available on television to more than 7.4 million Canadian homes via cable, Star Choice, Express Vu, Look TV, Skycable and on the Internet at www.voiceprint.ca, will highlight the excellence of Canada’s elite athletes.

“Our athletes are outstanding Canadian ambassadors,” says Patrick Jarvis, Canadian Paralympic Committee president, “they represent our country with dignity, competitive grace and quiet confidence. “We are excited to listen to the type of coverage VoicePrint is known for,” Jarvis says.
