Welcome to Ted’s diner and another hilariously worse-than-ever working day in the life of Syd, a reluctant career waitress and still-aspiring actress. Syd’s got her hands full with a roster of rangy regulars: her obsessive-compulsive admirer Bangerman, Allergy Man and Picky Woman, a pair of nerds and their sluts-r-us dates, Rudeman, les artistes du bull----, and a friend who’s falling apart.

As if the customers aren’t bad enough, she has to cope with a crew of caustic co-workers who would drive a saint to sin. And Syd ain’t no saint. A weird, wicked, foul-mouthed and outrageously comic tribute to the unsung underdogs of the hospitality biz.
