Channelling Description, VoicePrint Talks

NBRS VoicePrint AudioVision

January 22, 2002 (Toronto, ON) This weekend Kelly Ashton speaks candidly with Terry Snazel, Bell ExpressVu Vice-President of Technology, about their new audio services for blind and low-vision customers.

"This is not only a technological achievement for Bell ExpressVu but a valuable development for an underserved viewership," says Snazel. Ashton and Snazel’s interview discusses how described programming is accessed, Bell’s decision to have such channels and what programming customers can expect.

“The interview will be very informative for many VoicePrint listeners,” says Ashton, “We need to know what services are available so we can make better consumer choices.” The interview will be aired on VoicePrint’s Ability Today on Saturday, January 25 at 1pm and Sunday, January 26 at 7am.
