Pfizer Canada Paralympic Show Goes Swimming

Pfizer Canada Paralympic Show Goes Swimming!

Toronto, ON (January 16, 2003) - This week’s “Pfizer Canada’s Paralympic Show” features a conversation between Stephanie Dixon, winner of five gold medals at the 2000 Paralympic Games and a double silver medallist at the Commonwealth Games last July, and VoicePrint’s Kelly Ashton.

In Heroes & Mentors, the 18-year-old Dixon, who swims in the S9 class, discusses her most recent successes at the World Championships in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.

“Stephanie reminds us that you only get out of life what you put into it,” says VoicePrint Manager Arlene Patterson. “And with that philosophy, she certainly qualifies as a Paralympic hero.”

The Pfizer series, to be broadcast this Saturday, January 18th at 1 pm Eastern and rebroadcast February 1st at 1 pm Eastern, is a monthly program series produced by VoicePrint that spotlights the Paralympic Movement and the 12th Summer Paralympic Games to be held at Athens, September 10- 28, 2004.

“Our athletes are outstanding Canadian ambassadors,” says Patrick Jarvis, Canadian Paralympic Committee President. “They represent our country with dignity, competitive grace and quiet confidence. We are excited about the scope of this coverage by VoicePrint and Pfizer Canada’s support that makes the production and distribution of these programs possible.”
