The Libby Thaw Interview and The Checkered Eye Lapel Pin
For people with impaired vision and the people with whom
they interact, awareness of a person's hidden needs can help alleviate
confusion, frustration, and embarrassment. Thats why The Checkered
Eye Lapel Pin was created by Libby Thaw, a vision impaired wife,
mother and entrepreneur.
The emblem itself is a simple eye, the center of which,
the iris, is black and white checkers. The pin is a one inch, round lapel
pin. It bears the Checkered Eye and the text "LOW VISION". The
background is white, the outline, emblem and text are black.
Hear the Libby Thaw interview and find out more about
the The Checkered Eye Lapel Pin in Ability Today on Saturday
