The Customer Service Standards for People with Disabilities – B480,
is a new Canadian Standards Association bill developed in partnership
with the Government of Ontario and the Ministry of Citizenship. It is
designed to assist both large and small organizations, including public,
commercial and not-for-profit service providers and governments to achieve
the following objectives:
- to plan and implement effective customer services to persons with
disabilities
- to verify the service performance of an organization
- to ensure quality of service is continuously improved
- and to address important considerations in understanding disabilities

Sunday
The Toronto Transit Commission is providing fast, reliable service to
five new subway stations running under Sheppard Avenue East, between Yonge
Street and Don Mills Road. Trains run every five to six minutes, from
6:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. Sundays) to 2:00 a.m. According to the TTC, all stations
on the Yonge/Sheppard line have elevators and are fully-accessible to
