1. The contest closing date for receipt of entries (in all formats) is 5:00pm EST, on June 30, 2003.

3. By entering, each contestant agrees to abide by these contest rules and regulations and the decisions of the independent contest organization, which are final. The odds of being selected will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All entries become the property of RBC Royal Bank and none will be returned.

No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant. RBC Royal Bank may use any or all the information contained and share it with other members of RBC Royal Bank Financial Group (where not prohibited by law) so that it (or they) may promote their services to each entrant and add the information to client lists prepared for that purpose. By entering this contest, each contestant consents to such use.

4. A random selection will be made in Paris, Ontario, on or about 2:00pm EST, on July 31, 2003, from among all eligible entries received up to 5:00pm EST, on June 30, 2003. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant (eligible according to the official rules) will be contacted by telephone and must correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, or cannot be contacted within 21 days of being selected, his or her entry will be disqualified and another will be randomly selected until the prize has been awarded. The winner will be notified by RBC Royal Bank to make arrangements for the awarding of the prize. Winner will be required to sign a standard Declaration and Liability Release form and consent to the use of their name, city or province and/or photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by RBC Royal Bank and/or its advertising and promotional agencies relative to this contest. Taxes and other incidental charges on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prizes must be accepted as awarded.

5. This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada that have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence on or before June 30, 2003. Employees and those with whom they are domiciled of RBC Royal Bank, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, advertising or promotional agencies or the independent contest organization are not eligible.

6. RBC Royal Bank is not responsible for entries which may be lost, misdirected, stolen, illegible, incomplete or delayed. RBC Royal Bank assumes no responsibility for any failure or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, during the promotional period.

7. For residents of Québec: any litigation in regards to the conduct or organization of this publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et jeux for a ruling. Any litigation in regards to the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie, only for purposes of helping the parties reach a settlement. For all other participants, any litigation must be initiated in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
